St. Lucia Beach

🌴 What’s Happening in St. Lucia This Summer

If you’re dreaming of a Caribbean getaway, now is the perfect time to turn that dream into a booking. St. Lucia is in full summer mode — and that means world-class events, legendary street parties, and enough island magic to last all year.

🎭 The Carnival Countdown Is On

Lucian Carnival 2026 runs from July 1–22, with the main parades landing on July 20 & 21. This isn’t just a party — it’s a full sensory overload of colour, soca, steel pan, and costumes that take months to create. Whether you’re marching or watching from the sidewalk, you’ll feel the energy in every beat.

🎶 Jazz Hangover & Free Sunset Concerts

The Saint Lucia Jazz & Arts Festival wrapped up in early May, but the music doesn’t stop. Free sunset concerts at Pigeon Island National Park continue into June, with local and regional acts serving up smooth vibes against a backdrop of historic forts and turquoise water.

🐟 Weekly Rituals: Fish Fry & Jump-Up

Every Wednesday, Anse La Raye hosts one of the most authentic food experiences on the island — the fish fry. Fresh catch, grilled right in front of you, served with fried bakes and cold Carib. On Fridays, Gros Islet takes over with the famous Friday Night Street Party: live bands, rum punch, and spontaneous dancing until dawn.

🏝️ August Brings Mercury Fest & La Rose

Looking ahead, Mercury Fest Weekend (August 14–16) is the premier beach-and-boat party of the season, drawing crowds from across the Caribbean. Later in the month, La Rose Flower Festival honours tradition with red costumes, parades, and community ceremonies on August 30.
